Chairman of the miner and commodity trading house dubs Martin Gilbert 'one of the leading entrepreneurs of asset management'

Aberdeen Asset Management chief executive Martin Gilbert has joined Switzerland-based Glencore as a non-executive director.

The miner and commodity trading house said in a statement on Friday that Gilbert has taken the role with immediate effect.
