Dutch Insurer Aegon Evaluates Relocation to U.S.

Dutch insurer and asset manager Aegon is considering moving its headquarters to the U.S., which is home to its main Transamerica division.

Aegon has focused on making the U.S. its primary market and a key pillar of its growth strategy in recent years after the closure of the 4.9 billion euro ($5.71 billion) sale of its Dutch business to peer ASR Nederland in 2023.
