Even before Donald Trump’s presidential election victory earlier this month, London legal firms were looking for a way to gain a foothold in the US. 

The importance of the US legal market has increased over the past decade thanks to the country’s booming economy and the success overseas of Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins and other US law firms.
