An audience with Bob Diamond: ‘People should be angry’
The former Barclays CEO finds his own reputation rehabilitated, but knows that a deep distrust of bankers remains

Bob Diamond speaks in cautious, measured tones during our interview at his drab Mayfair office. But the former Barclays chief laughs out loud when asked if he feels safe in London these days.
“How would you even ask that?” he says. “It is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.”
