A-P Fonden 3, one of the Swedish pension buffer funds, has split its US equity exposure into specialised mandates focusing on large, mid and small cap stocks, selecting four managers to run the portfolios.

The fund has approximately $2.2bn invested in the US with a target benchmark of 70% in large cap stocks, 20% in mid caps and 10% in small caps.
