Bank of America is targeting more M&A mega-deals, the US mid-market and equity capital markets as part of its plans to gain more investment banking market share.

The US investment bank is looking to add M&A dealmakers and capture a bigger cut of large transactions, it outlined in presentations on 5 November accompanying a much-anticipated investor day laying out plans for its business.
