Barclays has hired a senior Bank of America banker to lead its coverage of healthcare deals in Europe.

Kieran Whitty has joined the UK lender as co-heads of healthcare for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the bank said in a statement. He will lead the unit alongside Sid Chhibbar.
