BlackRock rejigs global emerging markets team with new London and Hong Kong units

Changes see the creation of two separate teams to oversee the asset manager’s emerging markets capabilities from Asia and the UK

BlackRock has overhauled its global emerging markets team, forming two sub-teams in Asia and the UK.

According to an internal note, seen by Financial News, the changes have been made to “create more focus” within BlackRock’s global emerging markets and global equity teams and re-focus investment research to regionally located portfolio managers.
