Candover adds Jay to the board

Candover Investments, a UK-listed investment company which backs private equity funds, has snapped up Michael Jay, a former permanent under-secretary at the UK's Foreign Office, as a non-executive director to replace the deceased Nicolas Lethbridge.

Lethbridge, a banker who was renowned for his champagne parties, died after falling in a tragic accident from the landing of his 11th century French château in August.
