Cboe drops plans for IPOs in Europe

The US exchange group unveiled a global listings offering in 2023, but it struggled to take off

Cboe Global Markets has abandoned plans to offer IPOs in Europe and the US after more than two years in the works.

The Chicago-based derivatives and securities exchange group is “discontinuing US and European corporate listings efforts”, it said in a statement alongside its third-quarter earnings.
