Citigroup hands CEO Fraser $25m as she takes on chair role

The bank said it is aiming to ensure ‘management continuity’

Citigroup has awarded chief executive Jane Fraser an additional $25m stock award as it has also handed the executive the role of chair.

Fraser, who has overseen a radical overhaul at Citigroup over the past two years, was given the stock options to reflect the bank’s “desire to ensure management continuity”, it said in a statement announcing the award.
