CMA spends millions on redundancies as 75 staff exit merger watchdog

Some 75 staff have left the UK’s merger watchdog as it races to balance its books after an error in its budgets.

The Competition and Markets Authority has spent £5m on a voluntary exit scheme that has seen dozens of senior employees depart, Financial News has learned.
