Coinbase’s Profit Jumps on Crypto Investment Gains

The largest U.S. crypto exchange’s revenue fell short of Wall Street expectations

Coinbase said its profit surged in the second quarter, fueled by gains in its investments including crypto company Circle Internet Group. 

But the crypto exchange’s revenue fell short of expectations, and its stock was down 6% in after-hours trading.
