Accountancy firm Deloitte PLT has agreed to pay the Malaysian government $80m to settle claims relating to its auditing of scandal-hit state fund 1MDB.

The Malaysian finance ministry announced the settlement on 3 March which it said was the largest by an audit firm in southeast Asia.
