Deutsche Börse has entered talks to acquire European fund distribution platform Allfunds in what would be the latest in a string of deals for the German bourse owner.

Allfunds’ board of directors has unanimously agreed to enter exclusive talks with Deutsche Börse after the group submitted a non-binding proposal, according to a statement. The cash-and-shares deal would value Allfunds at around €5.3bn.
