DWS opens Abu Dhabi office after getting green light from regulator

Frankfurt-headquartered asset manager has become the latest to establish a presence in the Middle East

DWS has received the regulatory green light to open an office in the Middle East, making it the latest financial services firm to establish a presence in the fast-growing region.

The asset manager, which is majority owned by Deutsche Bank, has appointed Joe Kiwan to oversee the branch in Abu Dhabi. Kiwan, who is currently based in Paris as head of coverage for the Middle East and Africa, will relocate to the new office.
