A prolonged downturn in sustainable investment hires is predicted to end in 2026, with headhunters pointing to renewed optimism among asset managers.

“It’s been an unfavourable business environment, which has caused cost-cutting across all industries. Senior people have been let go,” said Neil Farrell, founder of Farrell Associates.
