Euronext will join France’s blue-chip CAC 40 stock market index, underscoring the exchange operator’s growth in recent years.

Paris-based Euronext will join the CAC 40 on 22 September, according to a statement from the firm. The index comprises the 40 biggest stocks trading on Euronext’s Paris bourse.
