Evelyn Partners has fired the starting gun on a sale of one of the UK’s biggest wealth managers.

Running under the codename Project Condor, potential bidders were informed the process was starting on 11 November, according to people familiar with the matter. The deadline for the first round of bids has been set for 10 December.
