EY’s UK partner pay rises to average of £787,000

The Big Four accountancy firm posts a rise in UK fee income, despite a slowdown in consulting

EY’s average UK partner pay increased 9% year-on-year to £787,000, despite what the firm described as a “challenging market” for consulting work.

According to figures for EY’s financial year ending 27 June, UK fee income edged up 2% to £3.8bn while distributable profit before tax increased 4% to £679m. Average distributable profit per partner increased from £723,000 last year.
