The Financial Conduct Authority has appointed its first ever deputy chief executive in a bid to manage an ever-expanding workload.

Executive director of supervision, policy and competition Sarah Pritchard will work under Nikhil Rathi, the chief executive of the watchdog told MPs on 10 June.
