The Financial Conduct Authority has bolstered its crypto and payments division with a hire from Standard Chartered.

Anurag Bajaj joins the UK regulator as a senior adviser, specialising in payments, digital assets and cross border banking. The hire comes as the FCA looks to develop its expertise in the sector, as the UK seeks to become a leading hub for digital assets.
