The Financial Conduct Authority is looking to set up a panel of resolution and insolvency experts from the City in a bid to ward off future collapses in markets.

The watchdog is setting up a multi-firm failure panel and an insolvency practitioner panel as part of a review into the external experts it ropes in for certain work.
