Fidelity International appoints Anne Richards as CEO

M&G Investments boss and one of the most influential women in European finance quits for rival

Anne Richards, the chief executive of fund manager M&G Investments and one of the most influential women in European finance, has quit to run rival Fidelity International.

Fidelity, which manages more than £235bn in assets, confirmed the appointment in a statement on Friday, saying Richards will join in December. She will report directly to Abigail Johnson, chairman of the business.
