Goldman Sachs adds bankers to boost EU staff numbers by 16%

The US bank has continued to add employees to its EU hubs over the past year

Goldman Sachs has bolstered its EU headcount by 16% over the past year as the Wall Street firm has added investment bankers and support staff on the continent.

The US bank had 1,230 employees within its EU hub, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, at the end of June according to newly-released accounts. This was up from 1,057 a year earlier.
