Edmund Stokes, global chief operating officer of HSBC’s asset management arm, is stepping down after nearly six years in the role.

Stokes, who has worked at the London-based group for more than two decades, has decided to take a sabbatical beginning in November, an HSBC spokesperson told Financial News.
