HSBC hires NatWest’s Lindberg to lead UK

The bank has been searching for a new UK CEO since March

HSBC has hired a NatWest veteran to lead its business in the UK around seven months after kicking off a search for a new boss.

The bank has named David Lindberg as chief executive of HSBC UK Bank Plc, which is its ring-fenced retail banking unit, according to a statement.
