HSBC has signed a deal to use AI firm Mistral’s tools as banks increasingly turn to external technology providers in a push for efficiency. 

The UK lender has entered into a partnership with Mistral that will see it roll out generative AI across the bank, which it said would save employees time and help it better serve clients.
