Investec has poached two executives from rival Winterflood Securities to oversee fixed income trading and ETFs, as the City market-maker prepares to be taken over.

William Boddy has joined Investec as head of fixed income and ETFs, with Ben Goodchild as his deputy, a spokesperson for the Anglo-South African bank confirmed.
