When Filippo Gori, JPMorgan’s Emea chief executive, stepped down from the role in October — five months after relocating to New York — the Wall Street bank broke from tradition and offered the job to two people.
Conor Hillery and Matthieu Wiltz had already been elevated to deputy CEOs for the region last year, but were handed the top job after just 18 months with Gori at the helm. The Italian had taken on the job from Vis Raghavan, who moved to Citigroup as head of banking in February 2024.
