Julius Baer reaches $80m settlement with US justice department over Fifa corruption probe

Swiss bank Julius Baer is setting aside $79.7m for a settlement it has reached with the US Department of Justice relating to the bank's role in a corruption case involving FIFA.

In a 9 November statement, the bank said the agreement also includes a three-year deferred prosecution arrangement. Provision for the financial settlement would be in the bank's 2020 financial results.
