KKR mulls Milan expansion move

The private equity giant is pursuing a ‘radically local’ investment strategy in Emea

KKR is mulling whether to open an office in Milan, potentially joining a flurry of buyout shops that are snapping up space in the northern Italian city.

Mattia Caprioli, KKR’s co-head of Emea and co-head of European private equity, told Private Equity News last week: “We don’t formally have an office in Milan yet. That’s one we’ve been thinking about that could make sense when you think about the big developed countries.”
