The chief executive of the London Metal Exchange said its physical trading floor will remain a key part of the bourse, even as it draws more electronic market makers.

Matthew Chamberlain told Financial News that the world’s largest metals marketplace has a “really clear vision” for its open-outcry ring and it has a role in supporting the LME’s electronic participants.
