The chief executive of the London Stock Exchange Group has said the bourse owner is examining a range of M&A opportunities, with pressure on private equity firms to exit investments likely to help valuations.

“On the M&A dynamics, we continue to look at a lot,” David Schwimmer told analysts in a call following its first-quarter results. He added there was no change in the group’s capital allocation policy.
