Marshall Wace profit surges 239% as performance fees increase

The long-established hedge fund posted revenue of £1.4bn after a bumper year for its flagship fund

Hedge fund Marshall Wace has posted profit for the 12 months to February that were more than three times that of a year earlier as performance fees surged.

The firm brought in revenue of £1.4bn for the period, which was up by 84% year-over-year, according to newly released accounts on Companies House.
