Dominic Griffiths never imagined becoming a banking finance lawyer. In fact, he hadn’t heard of securitisation when he started his legal career in 1996.
“I was quite keen on the idea of becoming a disputes lawyer. And then in my final seat, I had a very inspirational head of corporate finance,” says Griffiths, who has spent more than two decades advising financial institutions on everything from asset-based lending to structured finance.
