When Les Borsai was managing the American rock band Unwritten Law in 1998, its drummer “borrowed” a hire truck and crashed it through the window of the Bahia Hotel lobby in San Diego.
It was just a few days before Christmas, and the police were called. Borsai was left to pick up the pieces.
