Reform’s rise sparks City interest

Nigel Farage’s populist party is no longer a ‘fringe phenomenon’, say senior leaders in the Square Mile, who are increasingly angling for time with the potential future government

Top firms in the City are beginning to take the prospect of a Reform UK government more seriously as Nigel Farage’s party romps ahead of its political rivals in the polls.

Executives and senior leaders at banks, asset managers, wealth firms and financial regulators have stepped up their monitoring of the party in recent months as its right-wing populist message resonates with more of the British public.
