Schroders’ assets swell to record £817bn

The fund manager has pulled out of its wealth venture with Lloyds and launched active ETFs as it focuses on areas of ‘scalable growth’

Schroders’ assets under management hit a new high of £816.7bn at the end of the third quarter, with chief executive Richard Oldfield hailing the success of its ongoing simplification plan.

Overall AUM increased 5% quarter-on-quarter, according to its Q3 trading update, with Schroders attributing the uplift to net inflows and supportive markets.
