Sidley and Gibson Dunn lead on $2.7bn Soho House deal

US law firms score roles as the members’ club agrees a take-private deal

Sidley and Gibson Dunn are among the law firms that bagged roles on a landmark $2.7bn deal to take members club Soho House private.

Soho House, which started as a single club in London in 1995, has agreed to be taken over by an investor group led by MCR , the third-largest hotel group in the US. The move brings to an end Soho House’s four tumultuous years on the New York Stock Exchange.
