Anne Boden, the founder of Starling Bank, said people didn’t take her seriously when she began her entrepreneurial journey.

“When I started raising money for Starling, I was a middle-aged, 5-ft tall Welsh woman and people used to laugh at me. People didn’t think that somebody of my sort of experience and a woman could be a technologist,” Boden told Financial News.
