Tradepoint wins backing of clearing houses

The race to be the first single electronic platform for trading European stocks intensified yesterday, reports the Financial Times.

The London Clearing House, which already clears Tradepoint's UK transactions, agreed to act as a central counterparty for settling and clearing cross-border trades conducted through Tradepoint.
