UBS taps JPMorgan’s Magazzeni to lead AI strategy

The Swiss bank has created the role of chief artificial intelligence officer to make greater use of the technology

UBS has tapped a JPMorgan veteran to lead its AI strategy as banks increasingly look to use the technology to overhaul their workforce.

Daniele Magazzeni has been named chief artificial intelligence officer at UBS, according to a statement from the bank, as it looks to roll out more use cases for the technology, which is expected to drive efficiencies and increase productivity.
