UK banks to waive charges for Holocaust victims

A large number of British banks have agreed to waive their charges on regular compensation payments made by the German government to resident Holocaust survivors.

The banks include Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Lloyds TSB and Royal Bank of Scotland/National Westminster.
