IPOs continue to slump as Q3 volumes fall sevenfold

Global listings are down 44% in volume and 57% in value compared to 2021

The sluggish IPO market has continued into Q3, as geopolitical uncertainty and concerns over inflation and rate hikes scare away listings and investors.

The London Stock Exchange raised £565.5m from eight firms in the third quarter, a seventh of £4bn raised by 33 issuers during the same quarter in 2021.
