Wells Fargo international head Langley to lead Lloyds Banking Group’s CIB

The veteran banker will take over from John Winter next year

John Langley is moving from Wells Fargo after six years

Wells Fargo executive John Langley is leaving the US lender to head up Lloyds Banking Group’s corporate and institutional bank.

The former Barclays banker, who is chief operating officer of Wells Fargo’s corporate and investment bank as well as head of its international business, has been named chief executive of the UK lender’s corporate and institutional banking group.
