Georg Wunderlin is in charge of one of the most profitable and fastest-growing businesses at Schroders, but he is modest when it comes to how much of that success is down to him.

When Wunderlin joined Schroders in 2019 as global head of private assets, the FTSE 100 group oversaw roughly £44bn across its private assets and alternatives units.
